You hear a tap from the back of the room, but still can't quite see where it came from. The sounds of a struggle eminate from the two men in the room, and, before you can quite make out what is happening, a gun goes off, illuminating the three figures. One of the two in the middle of the room is John, who was struggling with a man you don't recognise. Just inside the window, balanced on a kitchen unit, is Trey, watching on, as you are.

I hope that was John's gun that went off and eliminated the other guy!
Wic slipped back out of the room to ambush any others that might come to the sound of the gun--or catch any that might make a run for it--and crouched down in the shadows...
Why do I insist on bringing knives to gunfights?

The muzzle flash came from the 'not John' figure, and the struggle carries on. The gun goes off again, but this time, it just takes out a chunk of the ceiling, and by the flash, you see why - John's wrapped himself around the neck of the gunman, trying to wrest him to the floor, but is thrown off, rather impressively, by the sounds of the crash of him hitting the floor, quite near you, just a little to the right. The gun goes off once again, this time aimed rightly.

((Addendum: Now that who has the gun is clear, Wic acts differently. Perhaps he just pulled back for a moment to plan his attack.))
Wic advances quickly on the unknown man and launches himself at him...
[This attack: Str+2, Wpn+3, Specialized+1, Equipment+2, Vigor+1, Willpower+3, All Out Attack+2* = 14/12* (minus darkness penalty and his defense)
*If, in the gloom he can tell that he's got his back or he just can't tell, he'll use an all out attack. If he can see he's facing him, he'll keep his defense.
He's not burning blood but reserving that to heal with.]

Yep, going for all out attack then.
2 successes
Catching a glimpse of what's about to happen, you dive in. The chunk of ceiling brought down by the gun falls, and then comes the crash of John being thrown to the floor, then you strike. You swing your punch dagger in an upward arc as you rush forwards in a fury. The blow isn't particularly effective, though it does cut him, but it's enough to knock his arm to one side as you cut it, and his gun goes off, seemingly accidentally, missing John by metres.

Wic continued to press the attack in the same way, trying to bring the guy down but also ready to defend himself.

You bring down your blade again for another cut, but this time your attack is rather more clumsy, and less effective.
Attack roll: 1 success
As you cut, the lights click on for a second, surprising you, and the assailant. You notice that you're definitely in a kitchen, and that Treyvon is crouched on top of the unit, by a sink. You also see John, still down on the floor, but moving fine. You look back to the gunman, and just see that he is wearing black biker leathers, when the lights click off again, just as the gunman aims a punch at you. You feel something hard and heavy narrowly miss your face, and you realise that you almost got the butt of the pistol fight in the centre of your face.

At that moment Wic had plenty to say to the guy but no time to say it, so he made another attept to cut him down before he could put that gun to better use.

You take another slash, cutting a line across the target's cheek. You ready yourself to strike again, but, as you turn back to the gunman, you see his silohette hunched on the floor, his hands round his head, and his screaming fills your ears, before he collapses, and falls silent.

Wic didn't know who helped him or how, but it wasn't a priority. He went back to the door and crouched to the side of it, waiting and listening, ready to spring.

You check the hall, and find Trey standing with you at the door frame a few moments later. Nothing different is happening in the hall; nothings moved, and you can see Michael standing by the front door, waiting for some kind of signal.
