He'd sigh if it was worth the effort.
"Sounds easy enough... Guess I'd better get going."

"Well then...come back with the items when you're done. Of course, first, we need to settle on exactly what you want to know."

"Anything about that shipment I asked about... Like where it was going after it arrived."

The man smiles, and leans back into the darkness.
"I'll look into it. Good luck."

"Thanks." He can't force much sincerity into the word, much less conviction, but if horror movies taught him anything it's that saying 'I'll be right back' means you never come back.
So Luke heads out, reminded of the fact his whole life is a horror story lately. A horror story with lots of errands.

You head out the door, into the night air. You reflexively take a breath, and walk back towards the exit of the compound. It's going to be hell to find a cab here at this time.
Where are you headed?

((how much time is left before sunrise?))

You've got at least 6 hours before sunrise.

After a bit of looking around, Luke starts walking in the general direction of his place, all the while praying that a payphone or cab will magically present itself somewhere along the way. Anything to make the trip shorter.
"Two nights," he mutters to himself. "Geez."

About 10 minutes walking late, and you silently rejoice at the sight of a payphone. You summon a cab, and return to your haven, wondering what you can do for the next 2 nights.

After sitting at his computer, Luke checks for any messages or any interesting images from the various cameras he has hidden here and there. Starting up an instant messaging program is just as much of a habit, something to feel a little less disconnected by as he considers what other info he might be able to find on the net.

You check the images and logs, while seeing who's online, and get a shock. On one of the 'exit-cams', someone passes right by the passage, even looking down it, before moving on. They've obviously, for some reason, passed right by you, through the sewers. You can't get a clear look at them but they're probably male, quite tall, and well built.
You take a deep, but entirely superfluous, breath, and lean back in your chair. It's almost certainly nothing to be worried about, just someone passing by, on their own sordid business, but a close call is a close call, and the last thing you want is to be discovered down here.

Luke runs his fingers through his hair as he stares at the screen, worried something else might happen. He thinks about what security measures he has in place, and if maybe he ought to improve on them a bit. A few cameras and alarms probably won't cut it if someone really wanted in but... He's not sure where to begin.
He lets his eyes drift over the other cameras and back to the programs he has running.
"Okay, now what..." he says to himself.

((Probably the easiest thing is to take the next 2 nights (or however long you want) as downtime, and we can make rolls for whatever you want to do. Or you can keep in real-time if you'd prefer.))
