You sit across the road from the club, watching it intently, really for a lack of anything better to do. You've already spoken to the bouncer, and apparently, you've just missed your target, who, supposedly, was here 'not half an hour ago'. Damn. That means yet more waiting. It;s been about a week since Jason set you to work. He, and whoever he works for, has decided not to simply grab Victor, as was originally their plan, but rather, to leave him where he is, and to try and use him to their full advantage. You don't know how they know him, you don't know why they picked you to get close, other than you being the only sap avaliable. And you don't know whether you want to be played like this any more. Sure, you'll get close to Victor, just like they want, but you're not so sure how long you'll play this game of theirs. Finding a group of your own may be exactly what you need to break the shackles that have bound you in your Requiem up to now. But, as always, you'll have to wait. The only thing you can really think of to do now is go into the club, which would be a major step for you, and either just hang around, try to kill time, and not anyone else, until you can track him down. Or. Actually find out where he's gone, and find him on your own. Faster. No more damned waiting. So you sit, wondering exactly what to do next. Hope this makes sense!

It took a while to work up the nerve to actually go into the club. His old driver's license, from before, was still good, but he knew that was no guarantee he'd get in. He never liked the club scene, and he liked in even less now that people stared at him. He had no idea how bad he could look, but it wasn't like he was a prize before.
He went around in circles several times, agonizing all the things that might go wrong with taking such a step, things that were worse than funny looks.
And he'd have to talk to people if he wanted to get anywhere quickly...
He drew in a completely unnecessary breath, exhaled it in a sigh, and walked to the club.

You cross the road, and approach the bouncer at the door. As you approach, you present your licence, brandishing it before you like an aegis. The bouncer stares hard at you, then his eyes flick several times between your face and the ID. After a second or so, he flicks his head at the door, indicating you to go in.

Luke would sigh with relief if it wasn't too much trouble, not to mention lame. Once inside the club he looks around- at all those people- and tries to pick out where to begin. Standing there staring won't help, so he plunges into the crowd. He detours towards the bar, falling back on what he knows from movies- ask the bartender first.

You grab a seat by the bar, and order a drink. When the barman brings it to you, you drop in Viktor's name. As you do, the barman narrows his eyes slightly.
"And who're you?"

Luke was taken aback by the question.
"Why should that matter?" he blurted, thinking out loud.

The barman's gaze remains fixed on you for a second, before he realises how rather unsubtle he's being.
He mutters sheepishly. "Oh...doesn't matter...just wondering is'all."
His eyes meet yours, and he shudders.
He lowers his voice. "You look like the right type, I guess. S'pose I should send you through to the boss. That's why you're here, right?"

Luke's first impulse was to say 'boss?' but he stopped himself just as he opened his mouth to say it. His mouth hung open for moment before was able to change gears and say, "Yeah, exactly."

He nods.
"Got-it. I'll just phone through. Back in a moment sir."
You're not quite sure what's going on, but something seems to have had such an effect as to entirely change the barman's attitude. You see him go over to the phone, punch in three numbers, and then wait. After a minute, he starts talking. You can't hear him, but you start trying to imagine what he's saying, whether this is a trap, or the real deal.
Another minute or so and he comes back over.
"Just knock on the door there" he points to the door just to the left hand side of the bar "and they'll let you in. We've got a guy to take you up to the office. Thank you sir."

Luke nodded and managed to keep some of what he was feeling of his face until after he turned away from the bartender. What had he done? It sure as hell couldn't be called smooth talk, so what was he gonna do when he got to that back room? No brilliant ideas hit to him as he walked over to the doors, as it was every step closer made him feel closer to panic. He could have turned and left right then, and he seriously considered it as he stood in front of the door.
Instead, once he felt he had himself a little better under control, he knocked.
He could play it cool, act like he knew what he was doing. Hell, he'd done it once before. Sort of.

No sooner have you knocked when the door opens right away, making you take a superflouous and involuntary breath. A man in a suit stands on the other side, and steps aside for you to enter, extending a welcoming arm to indicate just where to step.
"This way please sir."

Luke nodded and followed, all the while trying to keep cool. He could do this, easy, he just had to figure out what he was going to say.
I'm gonna die...

You're lead down a short corridor, which has very much the appearance of a backstage corridor, or something like that, then you make a right, up a flight of stairs, into a rather more comfortable-looking and better furnished corridor. Here, the guy in the suit leads you past a couple more doors, then stops outside on on the left. It's a nce wood-panelled door, and you just wonder what's waiting for you on the other side.
"Here we are sir, he'll be waiting for you."

"Thank you," Luke murmurs.
He paused a moment, both to steel himself and to see if the man would leave him. Right, as if he could turn back now. Luke opened the door and stepped inside.

Much to your disappointment, your 'attendant' doesn't leave you, but instead waits expectantly by the door. You stifle a slight sigh, open the door, and step through.
You find yourself in a what looks like a fairly typical corporate office, though slightly cheaper-looking. A meter or so away, behind an large old wooden desk, which doesn't really fit in with the rest of the room's decor, is a man, whom you vaguely recognise from somewhere, though you can't quite place him. He looks quite young, with short, light brown hair. He wears a suit, with the tie slightly undone.
He's been working on something on the desk, but, as you enter, he puts down his pen, and looks up. After squinting for a second, he does a double take.
His voice as he speaks is toneless, and unreadable.
"And you are?"
