Wic gets dropped near his haven, makes sure he wasn't followed and checks in on his little community until near dawn.
The next evening, he gets up quickly and goes to see what he can buy with the cash he has. A nice old Ford van with no windows on the sides, that might fit him well. He'll check the classifieds and/or the used car lots.
He'll also feed if the opportunity arrises or if he has time after the deal has been completed he'll actively hunt.

Anything interesting going on near his haven?
Does he find a suitable vehicle?
Does he have a chance to hunt?

The haven area is a quiet as a grave. Let's hope it stays that way.
After a few hours, you find a suitable vehicle - classified ads - morning edition. It gives you a phone number to ring, but it gets put through the voicemail, so you leave a message, asking to get back to you in the night hours, giving some excuse about night shift work.
Yes, you have a chance to hunt, how do you wish to do it?

Can you give me some information about where he's allowed to hunt?
Wic is an opportunist when hunting. He cannot effectively manipulate the situation like a Daeva or a Ventrue, so he must seek out existing situations. Lone individuals, or small groups where he can seperate one of them. One method is to go into a populated area, wait a while, then use Dread to get the people to leave, then stalk one of them.
If there are any parks in his hunting grounds he may try there, or if it's near 'closing time' he can skulk about near some bars, waiting for the loner on his or her way home.

A small area directly around your haven is open season, but there's rarely good pickings round there. The theatre is about 10 blocks away, south, and you know that Elysium extends about 3 blocks out of that. Other than that, you're not too up on where's in, and where's out. You know there's a run of bars and clubs to the east, getting closer to downtown.

He'll head east, to the area of the bars and hunt there.

You're hunting around for about half an hour, before you spot a perfect chance. Watching the entrance to one of the clubs, Club Spiral, you see a lone man come out the exit, and turn sharply into a side alley, where he disappears from your immediate view.

Wic pursues, walking quickly.

You walk subtly up the alley, and stop as you see the man pissing against the wall, his back to you.
Sometimes this is just too easy.

Wic is not a bad guy, but sometimes priorities cause him to inflict discourtesies upon mortals. After a careful glance around to ensure they are alone, he wastes no time pouncing on the guy; he doesn't even wait for him to finish. He just wraps an arm around his head and the other around his chest and sinks his teeth in in one fluid motion.

There's a slight, shocked uh, and then he falls silent, wrapped up in your arms, and being drained by your sharp, sharp teeth.
How much blood do you wish to take? I think your pools at 8.

Wic drinks slowly, feeling they man's heartbeat, monitoring his strength. He takes two, topping off. Then, he'll pause a moment, if the guy us alright, he'll exersize his Vigor, spending one and taking one more to replace it.

Done and done
You power up your corpse with the man's vitae; you feel it pulsing through you, powering you up.
You lean the near-unconcious man against the wall, and let him slide to a sitting position. Probably best to leave him there, he'll be ok.
You look both ways, but the alley is still dark, and there still seems to be noone else in sight.

Feeling good, Wic makes his way home, taking care that he is not followed. Old habits die hard, especially when they are still useful. Eventually, he is watching his 'friends' from his hiding spot, the early risers or late comers anyway, wondering at their blessed naivete.
Finally, when the false dawn's threat grows nearer, Wic scurries to the safety of his haven.
After he situates himself, he has a few thoughts before the oppressive sun beats away his conciousness: What monsters will rage and what monsters will fall in the coming night. Will my new friends truly be my friends or will they turn on me?
